| Details: | SUMMARY: Email notice from DWS that system submitted source water assessment with two sources combined into one sample. DETAILS: GWR requires one annual source water assessment from system. Lab results indicate source water was from Spring #1 and #2 combined. Need clarification on # of sources system is using and actual location that sample was taken. Last DWP survey indicates only one spring. 10/29/10 contact with Tom Merrell regarding sample. He states they have two springs. Sample was taken from Spring #1. I asked about another spring developed and in operation since last survey. He indicated that only one spring in use, but to discuss situation with system president. 11/01/10 contact with Dick Patron. The system has water rights to three to four springs. Source water identified as Source AB is Spring #2 which is not developed or in use. Source AB/Spring #2 could be used in an emergent situation with little adoption according to Mr. Petrone. ACTION NEEDED: Convey to DHS DWP that Lab IS# 496132 is from solely SRC-AA Spring #1 and to validate for 2010 GWR Source Assessment sample. SRC-AB Spring #2 shows as active on DHS Data system. The spring is not active. | ||
