| Details: | SUMMARY: Compliance w/BCA for DBPs DETAILS: We had a Bilateral Compliance Agreement with Monroe to come back into compliance with TTHM and HAA5. Monroe performed the following steps to decrease DBP levels: increased reservoir turnover, increased flushing, changed coagulant from Pass-C to ACH, and decreased chlorine residual. Their DBP RAAs have been below the MCLs for the past two quarters, therefore they are in compliance and have fulfilled their BCA as of 12/8/10. It has been recommended that they inspect the 1 MG reservoir and clean if necessary, especially if they want to attempt to reduce the DBPs enough to receive a monitoring reduction from quarterly to annually. ACTION NEEDED: Continue to keep DBP levels below the MCL. | ||
