| Details: | SUMMARY: LT2 Crypto Sampling DETAILS: The Oceanside system is required to perform Cryptosporidium monitoring due to exceeding the E Coli trigger level. The City has chosen to follow the 2-year, 1 sample per month protocol. HBH will provide for sampling, coordination of results and BIN classification of the water system based on the results. I collected LT2 Crypto monitoring filtered sample at raw water sample tap. PWS has chosen to use LabCor provided filtration system and pass 10 L of raw water thru filter. The flow is established at 2 L/min. Cryptonite filter passed water thru extremely slow ->45 minutes to filter 10 L of water. Alan called the lab and they said to send in sample anyway and it was not an issue. Dropped sample off at UPS in Sherwood, near HBH office. I collected Crypto sample containers and coolers there for future sampling. ACTION NEEDED: Continue sampling protocol. | ||
