| Details: | SUMMARY: E. coli Alert Response DETAILS: Received a call on Saturday from Table Rock Analytical that all five of the untreated source samples collected 12/16 tested positive for E. coli. The treated sample from inside the restaurant tested absent/absent. Called Kathy. I told her to post the public notice that Amy Baker had provided that explains the E. coli detection at the well and that the current UV treatment does not meet the required level of treatment for viruses. Explained that we would require a chlorination system be installed as an interim measure and that would need to happen relatively quickly. Long term action required would likely be obtaining a new water source (new well). ACTION NEEDED: PWS to post public notice, DWP to make site visit to assist with planning for chlorinator installation. | ||
