| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive coliform DETAILS: I communicated with Eric and Amy parmenter about the situation. Eric was instructed to submit a triggered source sample as an MCL violation has occurred and repeat distribution samples are not required. 11/24 the result became available and it was absent for fecal coliform but present for total coliform. Instructed to submit a public notice within 30 days and send copy to state within 10 days. He said he would post and send in on Monday 11/29. Eric said he is going to have the system shock chlorinated for a second time. Once system has had sufficient contact time and been flushed a special sample will be submitted to see if the shock chlorination was effective. Eric was informed that 5 temporary routines will be required for December. He was also informed that samples must be from the distribution system only. They are not to include another source sample. ACTION NEEDED: Wait for results. | ||
