| Details: | Met with owner/operator at the lab to discuss the E.coli present sample. This facility uses hauled water for all potable water. This facility has two faucets only. He submitted three distribution samples today. He has inspected the storage tank for any obvious signs of contamination. He will be bringing in more hauled water. Instruct him to add chlorine to the next haul of water for further disinfection and to flush entire system. We discuss procedures for facilities on a boil water alert and food code requirements. I have sent a communication to tech services requesting how many confirmation samples must be submitted following an E.coli present sample on a hauled water system. I confirmed with operator that two additional samples will be submitted today before noon. | ||
