| Details: | I spoke with Jake today about the total coliform positive results (COLI20337) from the routine quarterly results on 9.30.20. Jake had already taken three repeat samples into the lab today, with no source sample (water supply is disinfected with chlorine and UV light). Jake mentioned that there had been a low water event recently when a valve of some sort had been left open over night, nearly causing the main tank to run dry. I suggested checking to see if the UV light was still in operating condition, given the possibility that it may have gone dry at some point. Jake also mentioned that he had not had access to chlorine test supplies due to mail or supply chain issues and back ordered reagents (I had asked about chlorine residuals in the system prior to the routine testing). |
