| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive coliform sample DETAILS: Karl called to state that the system collected a routine sample with total coliforms present and was trying to determine where to collect repeat samples. The sample was collected at the last connection on a dead-end line. After conferring with technical staff, I directed Karl to collect his three repeat samples at the site of the original sample, 5 connections upstream, and then anyother site of his choosing representative of the distribution system. I did mention that the City should consider updating their sampling plan so that routine samples are not collected at the last connection on a dead-end line. ACTION NEEDED: N/A | ||
