| Details: | Discussed by phone with Judy that 4 samples total are due asap: 3 repeats, 1 from the same tap as last weeks site, 1 within a few connections closer to the well and 1 within a few connection further away from the well on the same line; and Collect the 4th sample from the tap nearest the wellhead prior to any treatment. Please call me if any of these samples show the presence of coliform to consider further follow-up. Judy reported a recent break in an above ground pipe in the treatment building where several hundred gallons were lost before valves were closed. Noted that this situation could have caused negative pressure pulling in contamination in the distribution system any place there is even a small water leak. |
