| Details: | SUMMARY: Increasing contact time DETAILS: Jim said that the owner wants Stutzman to evaluate installing tanks in the wellhouse to increase contact time. Jim said the tanks they would recommend have diffusers and are designed to increase contact time. We discussed that such tanks at most would get 0.3 baffling factor (BF). A higher BF could be obtained if a tracer study supported such a result. Two 120 gallon tanks are planned. A third tank would not likely fit in the available space without expansion of the wellhouse.
