| Details: | SUMMARY: Coliform alert DETAILS: Sample taken at outside tap at space #2, 17 and the well sample were positive for coliform. Mr. Nash called to inform us of the situation and the system was shock chlorinated prior to sampling. System has shock chlorinated twice, will hit the system hard with super chlorination and let the system sit. Two samples at the end of the line did not have a coliform result. The question remains, was there enough contact time at the ends of the line to control the coliform contamination. Will reshock the system. Will prepare and unresolved coliform public notice to be issued an copy will be submitted to the state. ACTION NEEDED: Will take appropriate action and will need five temporary routine samples in December. | ||
