| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive Ecoli 12/29/10 DETAILS: Called Ernie and his wife said he had shock chlorinated the well and replaced the chlorinator. I emailed a Boil Water notice template to Ernie. 1/3/11 I spoke with Ernie and he confirmed that he shocked the well and the 1500 gallon storage tank and distribution system has maintained a chlorine residual of 0.2-0.4ppm. I asked him to find the lowest operating volume so I can do a calculation. 1-4-11 Based on the facts and figures supplied to me by Ernie there is adequate coliform to demonstrate 4 log inactivation of viruses. A disinfection verification worksheet will be sent to Daniel Hough. I called Ernie and told his wife the boil water notice can be lifted and to measure/record the chlorine residual daily and to maintain a minimum chlorine residual of 0.4ppm at the entry point. ACTION NEEDED: The state will send Ernie Pritchett a compliance monitoring letter and details about the well construction review performed by the Springfield office of the state. | ||
