| Details: | SUMMARY: Temporary repeat coliform alert DETAILS: spoke with Jeff regarding positive sample. 2 of the 5 samples are positive. The public notice is currently posted. Requested a copy sent to lane County. Jeff is not sure why the positive. Discussed the positive coliform in December at the source may be causing the total coliform issue. Going to shock chlorinate the well. 4 temporary routine samples are required with the next 2 weeks, at least 5 days after shock chlorinate. Jeff was frustrated with the number of samples the system has to submit. Discussed the option of installing a new well or having a well evaluation done by Shawn, state geologist, to see if the existing well is properly constructed. ACTION NEEDED: 4 repeat samples, 1 from source and 3 from the distribution. 5 temporary routine samples due in February 2011 | ||
