| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive Ecoli DETAILS: Four of five source confirmation samples positive for Ecoli. I spoke with John informing him that a tier 1 boil water notice needs to be distributed to the residents and a copy sent to the state. I emailed him the template and also discussed coliform. 12/30/10 I performed a CT calculation and discussed the results with Daniel Hough. CT is adequate for 4 log inactivation of viruses based on the info supplied by Steve Krupicka. I called Steve today and informed him that a 0.5ppm minimum chlorine residual at the first user must be maintained and the chlorine residual measured daily at the entry point and the boil water notice can be lifted. Daniel Hough will be sending them a letter regarding compliance monitoring. ACTION NEEDED: Interim: 0.5 ppm minimum chlorine residual required at entry point with daily chlorine levels recorded…this until the state sends a compliance monitoring letter. Also, Shawn Stevenson has been notified for well construction review. | ||
