| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive total coliform DETAILS: Spoke with Bill and he says there has been a recurring leak by the storage tank and that maybe the cause of the positive. He said he would collect a triggered source sample today along with four samples from the distribution system. 12/9/10 Discussed preferences regarding source sampling at the spring given the lack of a sample tap at the spring. In order of preference :sample at spring box overflow. 2. any tap prior to chlorination 3. a dipped sample at the springbox wiping down the sample bottle with alcohol and using single service gloves. 12/10/10 Triggered and repeat samples negative for total coliform. ACTION NEEDED: 5 temporary tourines need to be collected January 2011 | ||
