| Details: | SUMMARY: Nitrate above half the MCl at 7.8ppm DETAILS: spoke to Mr. Gebhart about his recent nitrate sample. The system was returned to annual sampling in 2010 due to quarterly testing being consistently below 10ppm. We discussed the need to review the public health effects relating to nitrates. There are young children in the rental units. We discussed the need to monitor the population especially for pregnant women and infants. We discussed the possibility of providing treatment for nitrates in the future. ACTION NEEDED: Monitor nitrate levels and susceptible populations that are vulnerable to high levels of nitrates. | ||
