| Details: | SUMMARY: field visit for chlorinator DETAILS: Due to confirmed contamination in the water source, the system was required to install chlorination as an interim measure until a new water source can be determined. John Kerns, Pendleton Electric, installed the unit on 03/03/11. The unit is: Stenner feed pump system - model ID# 85MJH1A1STAA. It cycles off and on with the domestic pump on the well. Sodium Hypochlorite is used. At the time of the visit, the chlorine residual was a 1.0 ppm. System is to take daily measurements and document on the provided form. Form is to be turned in monthly. ACTION NEEDED: Order chlorine test kit (currently system is borrowing space DWP kit) and measure residual daily. Residual is to be maintained at a minimum of 0.2 ppm. | ||
