| Details: | SUMMARY: Discussed enforcement, contact change, and progress relating to arsenic levels DETAILS: Dee called to provide an update that the water system has arrnged to receive private financing for the installation of an arsenic treatment system. She believes the funding with be finalized and available within thirty to sixty days. Dee stated that Dan Cady is the operator for the water system, but doesnt necessarily serves as the administrative contact. I stated that current DWP records dont show a certified operator for Valley Vista, and it appears that Dan and Dees husband both attended a recent small water system class, but never submitted their certificates to the program. Dee agreed that she can serve as administrative contact. Lastly, I informed Dee that DWP just assessed civil penalties against Valley Vista for failing to adequately respond to the arsenic levels over the last two years along with the failure to submit public notice to the Program. ACTION NEEDED: Set Dee Criswell as administrative contact for the water system and await response by Valley Vista after they receive the recent notice to assess civil penalties. | ||
