| Details: | SUMMARY: SDWRLF Funding Assistance DETAILS: Jackson Creek Water Assn serves 17 connections with approximately 45 people. The system is composed of a well that feeds into a 20,000 gallon steel reservoir. From there, the water feeds to the booster pumps that pressurize a bladder tank. Chlorination is added after the bladder tank for iron removal. Tetrachloroethylene (PCE) has been found in the water ad the source has been isolated to the reservoir (PCE is within the MCL set by the EPA). The system has determined that the installation of a replacement reservoir is the best option to eliminate this contamination. HBH was contacted to provide assistance with the completion of a Letter of Interest (LOI) for the SDWRLF. HBH assisted system with preliminary cost estimation and completion of the LOI for the SDWRLF. ACTION NEEDED: None at this time. | ||
