Details: SUMMARY: SDWRLF Funding Assistance DETAILS: Saginaw Park Trust operates 3 wells, 1 primary and 2 backup wells. The primary well feeds two pressure tanks. The larger of the two tanks is located on the far side of the system and is back fed through the system. The existing distribution system is in poor condition with many leaks. Mr Brown contacted HBH for general assistance with leak detection and funding assistance. With the new MCL set by the EPA on arsenic, Saginaw is no longer meeting this requirement. During the last round of testing, the arsenic level was found to be 0.02 mgl, which is beyond the limit of 0.01 mgl. Mr Brown requested help with the process of treating arsenic. HBH completed preliminary recommendations report. Following the completion of the recommendations, the system requested assistance with SDWRLF funding. HBH assisted the system with the completion of a Letter of Interest (LOI) for the SDWRLF. ACTION NEEDED: Continue funding assistance as needed.
