Details: SUMMARY: Discussed installation of arsenic treatment at Valley Vista Estates DETAILS: Mr. Jurado called to inform me that he will be individually arranging for private funding to complete the process of design and installation of a treatment system at Valley Vista Estates to ensure compliance with the arsenic MCL. We disuccsed what types of documents might be needed as verification of this process for DWP, and I indicated that depending on the amount of time involved for the process to be complete, DWP would likely be satisfiedin settling the proposed civil penalty without interim deadlines so long as treatment was expected to installed by this summer. ACTION NEEDED: Respond to the email from Dee Criswell and Mr. Jurado identifying the need for a hearing requerst and then informing them of the process for negotiating a settlement.
