| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive coliform DETAILS: In review of the alert records on 2/24/11 in the database I came across these 2 alerts. My email records for the January 18-22, 2011 time period, the Josephine County Health did not receive an email alert notification from the state in regards to either one of these alerts. They first became aware on 2/24/11. It appears the system has taken some immediate action in taking 4 repeat samples. I will contact the system via phone today and inquire about the situation. Because one of the repeat samples was positive coliform a public notice may need to be issued as well as possible shock chlorination oft eh system. These items may have already been completed I will confirm this late. Database also shows this is a seasonal campground and is currently not in season so the above public notice may not apply. I will make contact and inquire why samples were submitted this time of year when they are closed to the public. ACTION NEEDED: More follow up and investigation is required. | ||
