Details: | Total Microcystins were detected at 0.67 ug/L in Jackson Co Parks Emigrant Lake's routine every-two-week raw water sample collected Monday 10/5/20. As a result, monitoring of the raw water has been increased to weekly. An entry point (finished water) must be collected within 1 business day and entry point monitoring continue weekly going forward. DEQ Lab notified the system Wednesday 10/7/20 that a sample must be collected from the entry point and sent to the lab. Update 10/16/20: entry point sample collected 10/8 was non-detect. Update 10/23/20: the PWS qualifies to discontinue entry point (EP) monitoring and return to every-two-week source monitoring since cyanotoxins were non-detect in two consecutive EP samples and less than 0.3 ug/L in two consecutive source samples. Since there are less than 2 weeks left in the season, PWS is done sampling for this year. |
