| Details: | SUMMARY: Waterline Relocation on Bridge DETAILS: ODOT elected to replace their bridge at Bridge Creek. The City has a water line hanging on the bridge under a revocable permit. The City has requesting assistance on the options and costs for alternatives to either remove and relocate their line or relocate the line off of the bridge. The City wanted to look at doing the work themselves. I met with ODOT, City of Mitchell and local citizens to discuss the various alternatives. I received plans and a geological test log of the area around the bridge. We discussed three alternatives and the effect on environmental, cost and scheduling with the work by ODOT. We provided cost for each alternatives and pertinent information related to the alternatives. The City will hold a special council meeting and choose an alternate and then respond to ODOT so they can complete their design of the bridge. ACTION NEEDED: Monitor decision by the Council. | ||
