| Details: | 10.08.20 - Mr. Grim reported that the submersible pump in the well failed. No water is being provided to the campground at this time. The operator is working to arrange the repairs. Mr. Grim informed me that the October testing and disinfection record submitted monthly may be late or partially incomplete. I advised Mr. Grim to shock chlorinate the entire system and when chlorine level is back within normal range, collect a special sample (SP) in the distribution lines to ensure water is safe to drink. The operator should also consider including this procedure as a task within the system's Maintenance and Operation manual. |
