Details: SUMMARY: Leak Locations & Infiltration Gallery Assistance DETAILS: Bear Creek Hide Out consists of 2 wells (off line) and an infiltration gallery in Bear Creek that feeds 175 people through 105 connections. Recently the infiltration gallery has burned out and also become plugged with material from the creek channel. This reduced the output causing the system to run out of water or have low pressure. Another problem that appears to be showing up is a large amount of water loss. Leaks are likely spread throughout the distribution system. The pipe joints are thought to be the source of these leaks. HBH worked with the operator to get the infiltration gallery pump operating correctly and outline a cleaning procedure for the gallery. HBH wrote a test sequence for isolating leaks throughout the distribution system-- also worked more with the operator on how to identify possible locations of leaks and repairs techniques. ACTION NEEDED: None
