| Details: | SUMMARY: Discussed civil penalty settlement DETAILS: Mr. Jurado submitted a request a for contested case hearing related to the $1,000 civil penalty assessed on March 10, 2011. Mr. Jurado is in the process of arranging private funding for the installation of a treatment system at the Valley Vista Estates water system. I contacted Mr. Jurado and explained the process and likely terms of an agreement to settle the matter of the penalty without going to a hearing. Mr. Jurado responded saying that the Valley Vista board is in favor of a settlement rather than proceeding to a hearing. ACTION NEEDED: I will draft a proposed settlement and submit it to Valley Vista for their consideration. | ||
