| Details: | SUMMARY: Ecoli detection/boil water follow up DETAILS: System had Shiloh Water install a chlorinator at eh well on 3/22/11. 3/23/11 I made an onsite visit and was unable to get a detectable chlorine residual in the dist. The chlorinator was adjusted to 75%. Another visit 3/24/11 and still no residual. The chlorine mix was increased. A detectable residual of .5ppm to 1ppm was achieved 3/25/11 and 5 distribution samples were taken. All 5 were clean and the boil notice was lifted 3/28/11 with state and county approval. System is now required to install either a 4 log disinfections system, a new well or conduct a 12 month assessment of the well. The temporary disinfections system will remain in place and chlorine residual tested and logged daily. They need to take 5 samples in April. The system is also being required to do microscopic particulate analysis. ACTION NEEDED: Decide what method of corrective action to take and begin testing. | ||
