| Details: | SUMMARY: Discussed administrative order and request for hearing DETAILS: I spoke with Terry to determine whether the District desired to proceed to a hearing and why, or if the hearing request was a mistake. After explaining the hearings process, Terry explained that the District does not desire a hearing, and does not dispute the fact that arsenic in the Districts water is over the MCL for arsenic. The primary reason for the request was the concern that the District would not be able have a treatment system installed by the end of 2011 due to financial limitations. I explained the possibility for an extension of the District is making progress on securing funding and determining the best treatment method or alternate water source. ACTION NEEDED: Assist the District in submitting a letter of interest for SDWRLF assistance and assess the progress made in July to determine the scope of an extension. | ||
