| Details: | SUMMARY: Discussed arsenic treatment progress DETAILS: Wayne called to discuss the proposed bilateral agreement that would set expectations for installation of an arsenic treatment system. Wayne thought the proposed deadlines in the agreement drafted by the Program were reasonable, and all should be able to be met. I stated that the Program is agreeable to amending and re-issuing an agreement if unexpected delays occur that are outside of the control of Canby SD, and referred to Maclaren Youth Correctional Facility as an example. Wayne stated that they were likely to use a Greensand system and that fund had already been set aside. He also stated that he was hopeful that the system could be installed and operating by before the 2011-2012 school year started. ACTION NEEDED: Await response from either Wayne or Superintendent Rose regarding the terms of the agreement and proceed with finalizing the agreement for signatures. | ||
