Details:	SUMMARY: Reviewed Draft Administrative Order DETAILS: Spoke with Darcy, the park manager. I advised that an Administrative Order (AO) would be issued soon. Discussed that it would require correction of the nitrate and arsenic contamination, the other significant deficiencies listed in the 2010 survey report, and the collection of chemical samples by certain deadlines. Reviewed available options to meet the nitrate and arsenic MCLs (new well, connect to City of Ontario, install treatment). Advised submitting a State Revolving Loan Fund Letter of Interest (LOI) as soon as possible. Spoke with Eric Evans w/ Malheur County Env. Public Health. He has found three deep wells in the area that can be sampled to see if water from a deeper aquifer will meet water quality standards. If so, a new deep well would likely be the best available solution. One of the deep wells was sampled about 10 days ago, but the results are not back from the lab yet. Eric will send the drillers logs from those wells to DWP for review. Spoke with the park owner, Bob Cook. Reviewed the status of the water system, the requirements for meeting drinking water quality standards, and advised him of the upcoming AO. Reviewed the proposed deadlines for some of the most critical items in the order. ACTION NEEDED: DWP to issue AO. PWS to submit LOI, take compliance actions.
