| Details: | SUMMARY: Chlorinator Installation Assistance DETAILS: The Laurelwood Water Users supply drinking water to approximately 200 people in a small rural water system. The water source is two springs. Water flows from the springs to a reservoir. The water system experienced some coliform positives. In response, the water system is seeking to install a permanent tablet chlorinator system. Mr Billingsley contacted HBH with questions regarding plan review and NSF-approved chlorination systems. As this system experienced e coli positives, the chlorinator system would be required to comply with the Ground Water rule. As treatment, full plan review would be required. Contact information for Marsha Fox was provided. Subsequent contact was made regarding the need for an NSF-approved chlorinator. I discussed project with DWP staff and tablet feeder supplier who may be able to meet the needs of the system. ACTION NEEDED: Continue to provide advice to system as required. | ||
