| Details: | SUMMARY: Sealing air gaps in reservoir DETAILS: The city owns and operates 3 wells that feed into two reservoirs. Their oldest reservoir was installed in the 1940’s and consists of a circular reservoir without a concrete roof. A roof was installed-- a cone structure is not well sealed to the concrete reservoir. This leaves air gaps at the bottom that are allowing foreign materials to enter the reservoir. HBH met with Mr Faircloth and looked into possible solutions. A spray-in expanding form could be used on the larger holes with a spray-in insulation over the rest of the structure. ACTION NEEDED: Further materials recommendations if needed. | ||
