| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive coliform DETAILS: Ed informs that 1 of 5 temporary routine samples shows coliform present. I reminded of requirements for 4 repeats ASAP, source samples from each well and 5 temporary routines in May. Also suggest further evaluation to determine where contamination is from and to consider chlorination of tanks and distribution line if contaminant source is not identified. Ed I suggested importance of taking all samples as required to assure the integrity of the system. If contamination is getting in, taking all samples should help determine this and motivate closer inspection. ACTION NEEDED: 4 recheck samples A source sample from each of the 2 wells and 5 temporary routine samples due in May Public notice to remain in place. | ||
