| Details: | SUMMARY: Significant deficiency correction extension and BCA DETAILS: On 4/18/11 Kelly sent me a 60-day extension request for correcting the remaining significant deficiences identified during the 2010 survey. Once I reviewed it I asked her to provide more details about the progress made, what still needs to be done, and the dates when LMWD thinks they can be completed. Kelly provided a more detailed extension request on 5/3/11. Due to the complexity of correcting these types of significant deficiencies, it was decided that a Bilateral Compliance Agreement (BCA) should be written up. After discussing projected dates of correction with Bill Grimes, the DRC, I assisted Brad Daniels, our enforcement coordinator, with writing up the draft BCA and e-mailed it to Kelly on 5/18/11. ACTION NEEDED: Kelly will send the BCA to George Geddes, the Chairperson of the Water Board, and Bill Grimes, the DRC, for review. LMWD will let me know of any suggested changes or if they agree with the BCA as written. A final BCA will be printed on letterhead and copies mailed to LMWD for signature by George Geddes. | ||
