| Details: | SUMMARY: Phthalate Alert Response - MCL Violation DETAILS: Spoke with incoming Annex Achool superintendent Eric Milburn. With 4 quarters of results now on record, the running annual average is over the MCL, so there is a violation and public notice is required. School is out for summer, so for now the notice can just be posted at the school. A July 2007 phthalate sample tested as non-detect, so it appears the source of the contamination was introduced after that date. Also spoke with Topper Schlupe at Malheur ESD who collects the water samples and reviewed the situation. ACTION NEEDED: PWS to post public notice, return dated copy to DWP, investigate the source of the phthalate contamination by reviewing work done on the well and pump, and replace any non-NSF approved plastics that may have been installed. | ||
