| Details: | SUMMARY: Routine total coliform positive for sample date 9/28/10 DETAILS: Contacted John and he wasnt aware of the positive coliform. I let him know they need to do follow up testing at this point. Since the system chlorinated they will need to do a triggered source sample & 4 repeat samples in the distribution system. The lab takes there samples so I suggested that he contact the lab to be sure that they are scheduled to get repeats taken. I let him know they will also need to take 5 temporary routine samples before the end of October. I asked if the chlorinator was operating properly and he believed it was but he would have hi maintained staff check to be sure everything is operation properly. I also have a new contact name of the system as the current contact listed has passed away. ACTION NEEDED: Monitor follow up sampling & respond if necessary. Complete an inventory update with current contact. | ||
