Details: Contacted the water system, Topaz Farm/Jim Abeles/Kat Topaz, regarding the water quality alert, CHEM9097, for the Nitrate sample taken on 9/29/20 with a test result of 5.630000000. Due to the result being greater than half of the MCL 10, the water system is required to take Nitrate samples every quarter for the time the water system is operating for a year. This system is seasonal from May 1 - November 15 and operates in the 2nd, 3rd, 4th quarters of the year. They have already taken a Nitrate sample 05/04/20 (2nd quarter), 09/29/20 (3rd quarter), so have been directed to take a Nitrate sample in October (4th quarter) to meet the requirements for their year's worth of Nitrate sampling and see if there is a spike or not.
