| Details: | SUMMARY: Well casing elevation vs 100-yr floodplain DETAILS: Bruce said his search found the well to be in Zone A flood plain with an indeterminate elevation for the 100-year floodplain. He will search the FEMA database again for a specific elevation. However, if no elevation is in the FEMA database, it will be ambiguous as to the casing elevation that is 2 feet above the floodplain. Additionally, Bruce was present on-site during the 1996 floods and observed that the water level did not reach the vicinity of the well casing (nor the restrooms). Therefore, if the 100-year flood elevation is not documented, the existing casing height is considered adequate. ACTION NEEDED: none | ||
