| Details: | SUMMARY: Discussed arsenic compliance DETAILS: I called Pastor Bryan and discussed compliance with the arsenic MCL and an agreement to set forth corrective action and future sampling to ensure compliance. We discussed the systems current arsenic treatment, possible options, and alternatives. Pastor Bryan seemed agreeable to signing an agreement and ensureing that the system produces water with arsenic well below the MCL. I recommended that the best source of information avout the system and options is the DWP circuit rider, but explained that the treatment was likely undersized considering raw water arsenic levels and uses media very radidly. I also stated that surface water treatment is complicated enough that it isnt likely to be a less expensive solution to the arsenic contamination. ACTION NEEDED: I will send an email to Pastor Byran including information about the process, contact information for the circuit rider, and a draft agreement to be signed by DWP and SLCC. | ||
