Details: SUMMARY: Ecoli positive DETAILS: This alert is from the 5 repeat samples that are required as a result of the initial positive Ecoli alert received 6/1/11. Based on the on going situation the LPHD and the state knew these 5 tests would come back positive for Ecoli. Extensive field visits and consultation with the system have been made on 6/1, 6/2 and 6/3. The state, Daniel Hough and LPHD are working closely and have begun implementing steps to evaluate for GWUDI which will include MPA analysis. The system will be further evaluated for surface water treatment system requirements including monitoring for turbidity. Follow up is on going. Also, and again after working with Daniel Hough this system does not need to take immediate corrective action or post a tier 1 notice due to the fact the distribution samples ( most recently 5/19) are negative. Source water is positive but distribution water is negative. ACTION NEEDED: GWUDI evaluation, well head evaluation, perhaps install additional surface water treatment measures.
