| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive total coliform DETAILS: 7/12/11 - I spoke with Gene he informed me that he believes the sample was contaminated in transit. Additionally, he said there has been some construction to the system recently, pressure tanks replaced etc. I told him I would get back to him in the morning regarding what to do next. 7/13/11 Gene informed me he has already applied some chlorine to the storage tanks. Given that, I advised him to wait until chlorine is flushed from the system and then collect the 2 triggered and three repeat samples. The timetable on this per Gene is Monday July 18 at the latest. 7/19/11 - One source and one distribution sample tested positive for coliform. ACTION NEEDED: See next alert. | ||
