Details: | SUMMARY: Arsenic Removal DETAILS: The Canby School District operates a small water system serving the Ninety-One Elementary School. System has a primary well that feeds the distribution system which provides drinking water to approximately 455 students and staff. The system is composed of a primary well and an emergency well that feeds the distribution system. In 2001, the EPA lowered the Maximum Contaminate Limit (MCL) on arsenic from 0.050 mgl to 0.010 mgl (compliance was required by 2006). The most recent test of the raw water reported 0.017 mgl. HBH received water quality data from the school district. Listing this data, composed preliminary report recommending co-precipitation/filtration of arsenic. ACTION NEEDED: Continue to coordinate with School District, if requested. |
