| Details: | SUMMARY: Funding Assistance DETAILS: The City of Cascade Locks contacted HBH with the request for assistance with financing options for the water system. The City has identified several capital improvements that are important to the water system. The request centered on the possibility of using SDWRLF funding for some or all of the projects. I met with the Mayor (George Fischer) and the City Recorder (Sue Ryan) and reviewed possible funding options for the water system improvements. Most of the improvements were not good matches for SDWRLF monies. In addition to the meeting, I provided the City with a preliminary cost estimate for a 1.0 MG reservoir that would be included in an earmark request to Congress. ACTION NEEDED: Provide further funding assistance if requested. | ||
