| Details: | SUMMARY: Acute MCL DETAILS: Spoke to Keith about confirmed presence of E. coli positive in distribution. Well #3 was in use at the time and tested absent. He attributes positive results to using a kitchen faucet with a dirty aerator and a mop sink faucet used for cleaning the facility. He has posted no potable water signs and shut off drinking water at the rest area. He will post Tier 1 public notice at rest area and provide it to customers connected to water system. Keith will take corrective action by evaluating sample sites and flush piping. He will collect two routine samples from both sides of the distribution system on August 8th to determine if corrective action was effective. Informed county staff on steps taken to address issue. On August 9th, Keith called and the two coliform samples collected yesterday were absent. Boil water notice lifted. He will fill out the coliform sampling plan template to send to DWP and collect 5 routine samples in September. ACTION NEEDED: No further action needed. | ||
