| Details: | SUMMARY: Positive coliform sample 7/21/11 DETAILS: Phone and discussed recent sample results with Chuck, he is now system operator. He stated he may have submitted other samples since 7/21 that also coliform present. Explained public notice requirement for unresolved coliforms and emailed him the template. Explained the requirement to check chlorine residual and document it daily. He agreed to do this. Because system has little coliform, suggested making sure chlorine strength was up. If he found it already to be at 1ppm he could consider going as high as 4.0 but his tenants would not like it this strong. He agreed to keep chlorine strength up for the next week and then collect 5 temporary routines for August. ACTION NEEDED: Post public notice and mail copy to the state. Monitor, document and control chlorine residual daily. 5 temporary routine coliform samples in August. | ||
