| Details: | SUMMARY: Arsenic update DETAILS: spoke with operator. The water sample was not from well #3 as indicated on the alert. The sample was marked special from well #2 and this was confirmed from Shelly at Delta Labs. Chuck Michael has been informed and website updated. The following is an update from Sam. After discussing the well issues with Jackie and listening to a message from Katrinka with the county, I am not sure what to recommend. What is needed are an estimate for a new well and an estimate for reconstructing well #3. Also, the water team should stay in touch with Katrinka Danielson and Jay McPherson concerning our arsenic levels. The state recently lowered the allowable limit and our test from well #2 was slightly over the limit. It sounds like there are treatment possibilities for arsenic. Sam listed 3 companies for estimates for new wells and 3 companies for possible filtration systems to look into. ACTION NEEDED: Plan Review required for new well installation or new treatment installation. Keep Lane Co posted. | ||
