| Details: | SUMMARY: Acute coliform MCL DETAILS: Spoke to Phil regarding three repeat samples collected on Tuesday, August 16th being coliform-positive. The active Well #2 was absent. Customers were notified of water quality issue. On Wednesday the wells were chlorinated and water was pumped into distribution to sit for 24 hours. Provided boil water public notice with standard health effect language to fill out, provide to customers and send copy to DWP. Advised him to flush the water system, verify zero chlorine residual and collect two routine samples in affected area. He will notify DWP of sample results. ACTION NEEDED: Follow-up on sampling effort to determine if boil notice can be lifted. | ||
