| Details: | SUMMARY: compliance monitoring DETAILS: Matt called today to report they had a power outage and their chlorine residual level was below 0.3 (minimum residual for compliance monitoring) for approximately 5 hours. The City of Florence has never had any ecoli or even total coliform in any of their wells, they are performing compliance monitoring in leiu of monthly assessment monitoring. There is no public health threat with the chlorine residual being below 0.3 mg/. I discussed the issue with our compliance officer and he said we are not issuing violations right now for GWR compliance monitoring reporting. I told Matt since no violation will be issued no public notice is needed either. Matt will report on the MOR exactly what happened and it will be documented. ACTION NEEDED: send in monthly compliance report to DMCE. | ||
