| Details: | SUMMARY: Routine coliform sample came back positive for Total Coliform DETAILS: On 8/29, I left a message for Joe Wanamaker (541) 536-2315 because he was the contact in the database for both this system and OPRD Chandler State Wayside, and both systems samples came back positive for TC the same day. Instructed them to take 4 repeats as soon as possible - one at same location as the sample that came back positive, one upstream of that location, one downstream, one somewhere else in the distribution system, and a triggered sample at the well itself (this system has residual maintenance). Heard from Joe on 8/30 that he is no longer overseeing these OPRD systems, and that they were transferred to the group based in Klamath Falls. he gave me the new contact, JR Collier, whom I left a phone and an email message for. Got an automated reply to the email that said he was on vacation. I forwarded around the email of instructions for additional samples. Reached JR by cell phone 8/31, and although he is not back at work, he did instruct John Williams to take the required repeat and triggered samples today. He also briefed John on how to avoid contaminating the samples. In Sept, they will need to submit 5 routine coliform samples from the distribution system. ACTION NEEDED: Await results of repeat samples. Update contact information in the database. | ||
